#40 The Gharelu Bird

Hey Mommas, many of you had written to me, how to get kids love our very own”Ghar Ka Khana”. Well, the ans is with my foodarts made from 4 key ingredients – Roti, Sabzi, Dal & Rice.

The first one I made was The Happy Doll. You can click on the link here .

This is the second attempt of mine. I have made a cute looking bird whom i have named as “GHARELU”, since the foodart is made from freshly made home cooked food. I have stuffed the roti with the sabzi and made it filling to the tummy and pleasing to the eye.

I have used the following Ingredients to make the foodart.

  • Roti/ Chapati
  • Frenchbeans Vegetable
  • Poha (used more as a garnisher)
  • Salad – Tomato, Cucumber, Lemon and Grape

Do share your feedback moms !!

#37 Oink Oink says the DOSA Pig

Hey moms, once again i have tried to make a cute little animal , this time a pig with the dosa batter. This is a south indian pig i must say. My kiddo loves his animal book and i have just taken inspiration from the book.

To give the pig a pinkish tinge i have added a spoonful of beetroot pulp which is a natural colour and at the same time would not hinder the taste of the dosa. Also i have made use of olives, tomato and cottage cheese to give the pig his looks.

I hope this simple foodart is loved by all of you.
