A bite, may be a slice but keeps demanding Cheese Pizza only?  Well it has become a challenge these days for parents to get their children to eat veggies without them showing a tantrum. Since Pizza is already known for its junk nature its heartbreaking for a mom to see her child gulping only cheese and bread. Well I am here trying to solve your problems by sharing 5 Ways to Sneak Veggies into Home Cooked Pizza for the Kids.

1.CREATIVE PRESENTATION

5 Ways to Sneak Veggies into Home Cooked Pizza for the Kids

You can apply this method if your kid is just fussy but has well balance taste-buds for veggies. All you can do is creatively design the topping in the shape of their favourite cartoon character,  some random theme etc. The Idea is to present the food well – what is good to eye will be good to eat as well. In this I have shared a rainbow theme example that goes with the current monsoon season and has loads of veggies stuffed to it

2. HIDDEN VEGGIES

5 Ways to Sneak Veggies into Home Cooked Pizza for the Kids

This trick you can apply when your kid shows ultimate tantrums to have only cheese pizza but does not care about the taste. Select the veggies of your choice, cook it well and blend it a mixture. Mix the veggies with the tomato based pizza sauce and spread it on the base of the pizza. Well the good part is there are veggies in it which your kid does not know about and your mission is accomplished. However make sure you use the right combination of vegetables

3. Create Colourful Mini Pizzas

5 Ways to Sneak Veggies into Home Cooked Pizza for the Kids

Before I express my view point, plz dont go by the look of the pic. This is for reference only. The idea is to create colourful mini pizza by changing the ingredients of the pizza sauce. So one sauce is made of tomatoes, other one is spinach, the third one is beetroot mixed with carrots. Just create a separate base for the pizza and make your dinner table colourful.

Mango Chia Pudding – A Summer Delight

Mango Chia Pudding – A Summer Delight

The season of summer is back and so is the season of mangoes, a much awaited fruit for most of us. Sometimes i wonder why mangoes are not available throughout the year ? But i guess it will not get the king of fruits status, if it is easily available throughout the year. Well having said that, i have already eaten half a dozen and before I dwell on the next half i thought of creating a very healthy pudding along with a very special ingredient i am getting hooked to – Chia seeds. With the richness of two ingredients, here I am presenting the Mango Chia Pudding.

Before I share the recipe, here are some suggestions you can look into.

In my recipe i have used cow’s milk, but you can use almond milk if you are looking out for a vegan option. I have choosen mangoes as a fruit to go along with it but you can use strawberries, kiwi, banana etc or a mix of fruits suitable to you.

I generally make this recipe for breakfast, but this can be had as a snack in the eve, or even on the go food, at workplace or even as a healthy dessert ..anytime of the day.

Plus it is one of the easiest recipie especially for begginer cooks or people who are time bound. And if all this sounds perfect just head to the Mango Chia Pudding recipe below

Ingredients

  1. Milk – 1 cup
  2. Chia seeds – 1/4 cup
  3. Honey / maple syrup – 1 tbsp
  4. Mangoes – 1 cup

Method

  • Mix the chia seeds, honey and milk together
  • Let chia seeds soak in the milk for atleast 8 hrs in the fridge ( i do it a night before so i can consume in the morning )
  • After 8 hours, cut fresh mangoes and layer it over the mixture ( you can also use mango puree )
  • And the Mango Chia Pudding is ready to serve

Hope you will love this recipe and in-case you are interested in such more recipes do comment or share your feedback, I will be happy to serve you. The above Mango Chia Pudding is inspired by one of the most famous and young baker of our country – Baking with Shivesh. He is a phenomenal baker and I am in love with easy cooking style. I am 31, a decade older to him and that does not matter because he has been an inspiration for me to try out my hands on baking. The day i succeed I’ll ensure to share some recipes with you.

Thank you fellas for all your love- stay tuned and till the time enjoy this delicious Mango Chia Pudding
